Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 June 2026

This notice explains how Axle Labs (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “AuraSync”) processes personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). It covers this website; the AuraSync application has its own in-product terms.

1. Who we are

Axle Labs (Pty) Ltd, registration {{CIPC reg no.}}, {{registered address}}, South Africa. Information Officer: [email protected].

2. What we collect

  • Demo / contact requests: name, work email, company, role, monthly volume, and any message you send.
  • Site analytics: privacy-first, aggregate usage data (Cloudflare Web Analytics) — no cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Why we process it (lawful basis)

To respond to your enquiry, scope a pilot, and contact you about AuraSync — on the basis of your submission, our legitimate business interest, and steps toward a contract. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with (operators)

Service providers acting on our instruction only: our CRM, our email provider, and our cloud hosting (Cloudflare, AWS). They process your data solely to deliver those services.

5. Where it's processed

We process in-region (South Africa / af-south-1) where feasible. The AuraSync product stores no raw personal identifiers for attribution — only expiring, keyed tokens. Any cross-border processing by an operator is under POPIA-compliant safeguards.

6. Retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to engage with you, then delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete it sooner (section 8).

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Report a vulnerability to [email protected].

8. Your rights

Under POPIA you may access, correct, or delete your personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent — email [email protected]. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

9. Changes

We may update this notice; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
